Dam: Hamilton Park Charlotte
Fletcher is a bull set to make a huge impact on the Romagnola breed. By the now deceased Cesare sire, Cougar out of a Carrie Downs Zivkovic daughter he represents one of the most consistent genetic combinations we have produced. He is phenotypically superb and typifies the modern beef producing animal combining weight for age, softness and early maturity into a moderate frame size. His impeccable temperament, clean coat and free moving gait top off an outstanding sire and will ensure his progeny will perform well in any environment and be suited to a range of target markets.
Fletcher completed his show career at Brisbane Ekka in 2013 where he was one of the heaviest bulls on the grounds at 32 months and weighing in at 1152kg. He carried an enormous EMA of 150 cm and had a 9/6 fat measurement. He was sashed Grand Champion Romagnola Bull and went on to be placed in the Top 10 in the Interbreed competition. (6 judges had him in their top 6)
His calves are consistently excellent. They are a rare blend of carcase cattle who are very eye-catching as well. His son "Jimmy Choo" was paraded at Beef 2015 where he was sashed Junior and Grand Champion Bull at just 16 months.
At Beef 2018, Jimmy Choo's full brother, Louboutin, was sashed Senior Champion Romagnola bull. We have retained "Louie" in the RBG herd.
We feel extremely privileged to have a bull of Fletcher's calibre in our herd.
